صحافیوں کے ساتھ ہونے والی گفتگو جب مقامی میڈیا پر چلی تو مریم نواز نے فوری طور پر اپنا موبائل نکالا اور ایک نجی ٹی وی چینل کا کلپ بھی صحافیوں کو دکھایا جس پر مریم نواز کا حوالہ دے کر کہا گیا تھا کہ ’اصل ڈان تو میڈیا والے ہیں۔‘

احتساب عدالت کے جج نے جب ان ریفرنس کی سماعت شروع کی تو ملزمان کی طرف سے ایک درخواست دی گئی جس میں کہا گیا کہ پاناما لیکس کے معاملے پر نظرثانی کی درخواست پر سپریم کورٹ کا فیصلہ آنے تک فردجرم کی کارروائی کو موخر کی جائے۔ عدالت نے اس درخواست پر دس منٹ کے لیے کارروائی معطل کردی۔

وقفے کے بعد سماعت دوبارہ شروع ہوئی تو عدالت نے اس درخواست کو مسترد کردیا اس پر ملزمان کی جانب سے ایک اور درخواست دائر کی گئی جس میں کہا گیا کہ ان تین گواہان کے بیانات کی نقول فراہم نہیں کی گئیں جنھوں نے نیب کے حکام کو اپنے بیانات قلمبند کروائے تھے۔

وقفے کے بعد دوبارہ سماعت شروع ہوئی اور یہ درخواست بھی مسترد کردی گئی تو نواز شریف اور ان کی بیٹی کی طرف سے ایک اور درخواست دائر کر دی گئی جس میں کہا گیا کہ ان تینوں ریفرنسوں کو ایک ہی ریفرنس بنا کر عدالتی کارروائی کا آغاز ہونا چاہیے۔ اس پر بھی عدالتی وقفہ کردیا گیا جس پر وہاں پر موجود صحافیوں کا کہنا تھا کہ بعض جگہوں پر کھانے کا وقفہ ہوتا ہے، کہیں چائے کا وقفہ ہوتا ہے اور کہیں نماز کا وقفہ ہوتا لیکن آج عدالتی کارروائی میں ’وقفہ برائے وقفہ ہے۔‘

اس درخواست پر بھی فیصلہ کرنے کے لیے جج اپنے چیمبر میں گئے اور اس درخواست کو بھی مسترد کردیا اس کے بعد ایک اور درخواست دائر کر دی گئی اور یہ درخواست وزیر مملکت محسن شاہنواز رانجھا کی طرف دائر کی گئی جس میں یہ موقف اختیار کیا گیا کہ چونکہ اہم نوعیت کے ریفرنس کی سماعت ہو رہی ہے اور اس بارے میں وزرا نے مختلف ٹی وی چینلز پر ٹاک شوز میں گفتگو کرنا ہوتی ہے اس لیے یا تو وزرا کی تعداد بڑھائی جائے اور یا پھر اس عدالت کو کہیں اور منتقل کردیں۔

اس پر احتساب عدالت کے جج نے وزیر مملکت کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ’میں وفاقی حکومت نہیں ہوں وفاقی حکومت آپ ہیں اس لیے وہ خود ہی فیصلہ کریں کہ اس کی سماعت کہاں کی جائے۔‘ عدالت کا کہنا تھا کہ نہ تو وہ اس پر اپنی رضامندی ظاہر کریں گے اور نہ ہی اس کو مسترد کریں گے۔

ان درخواستوں کی سماعت کے دوران نواز شریف اور مریم نواز کے وکلا دلائل دیتے رہے تو جج کی ایک نظر وکیل کی طرف اُٹھتی اور اسی دوران وہ ملزمان پر عائد کی جانے والی فرد جرم میں سٹینو کی طرف سے کی جانے والی غلطیوں کو درست کرنے میں مصروف ہو جاتے۔

آج عدالت میں بھی اتنا سکون تھا کہ لگ ہی نہیں رہا تھا کہ یہ وہی کمرہ عدالت ہے جس میں گذشتہ سماعتوں کے دوران تل دھرنے کی بھی جگہ نہیں تھی۔
